Turnberry and Maidens Property Guide

Just a few miles out of Girvan lies the breath-taking coastal destination, Turnberry. With its far reaching views Turnberry is truly one of the world’s finest resorts. It is famous for its iconic golf course, which is one of the best in the world. Turnberry’s neighbouring village Maidens is a lovely little coastal fishing village with its long sandy beach and grassy foreshore. This is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery including views of Ailsa Craig and Arran. By strolling north of the village uncovers a pathway which leads onto the popular Culzean Castle & Country Park. And by heading south you will find the wonderful harbour used for fishing and pleasure boats.

Eat and Drink

At Trump Turnberry Resort, the dining is as spectacular as the setting. If its afternoon tea or a leisurely glass of champagne the magnificent Grand Tea Lounge & Bar is the perfect choice. The classic 1906 restaurant, named after the year the hotel opened is Trump’s signature restaurant. Two minutes away, situated next to Maidens harbour is the extremely popular Wildings Hotel & Restaurant, with a delicious menu that caters for every need.

Sport and Recreation

A round on The Ailsa, The Kintyre or The Arran golf course at Turnberry is the kind of extraordinary experience that changes a player, professional or amateur. These championship courses have been home to ‘The Open’ on several occasions. Turnberry also offers a Links Golf Academy and a pitch and putt course. Maidens beach is very popular with horse riders, water sport fanatics and fishing. The village also has its own bowling club.
